If you are bitten by the bug of creativity, and love posting videos on social media then KnowMe is made for you.
Andrew Jarecki, the man behind the HBO’s blockbuster, The Jinx, has come up with KnowMe, a comprehensive and easy-to-use documentary making app that allows you to shoot, edit and share videos in one place. Now, capture moment using your iPhone’s camera, pick photos from your camera roll, pull images from the Web and record voiceover narration. You can sync multiple video clips, redo and rearrange your creation without having any technical expertise.
Currently, the recording capability of KnowMe is limited to 3 minutes. You should not worry as the developer claims to be working in the background to get this limit extended. However, you can add multiple video clips –there is no limit on the number of clips. It seems the developer is quite concerned with the user’s privacy. You get an option on its My Profile Page that allows you to change the privacy status as who can view and share your content.
Want to see the response of your followers? I bet, you won’t say no to it. Knowing the fame appetite, KnowMe brings push notifications – know what followers commented and how many likes you have got on which social sites and against which videos. Your filmmaking potential gets honored into the Feature section of the app, if it succeeds in wooing the content curator of the apps – interestingly, the number of likes or comments your post received, has an important say in that.
Not just share your videos, but also watch what others have shared using its built-in discovery component.
This iOS 8.0-compatible app is available at Apple’s iTunes store for free, and you can download it on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in a quick and easy manner.
